Raisin spice bars are kinda like brownies, but are made up of raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spices, instead of pure chocolate.
I wasn't sure if these would get eaten at our house so I tried to think of a different way to make the raisin spice bar more fun.
So I made rice krispy treats.
Yes, rice krispy treats. Those always go fast here so I thought, why not make that and add raisins and cinnamon?? Ha!
I had a bunch of chocolate covered raisins but the kids ate them so there wasn't much left so I used what I had and added some of the yogurt covered raisins.
We had some frosted krispies, which are so much better than the plain ones.
It has more flavor, it's sweeter.
Mmmmmmarshmallows!!
I added a little bit of cinnamon in it to make the "raisin spice" part. And voila! Rice krispy raisin spice bar treats! Yay!
Of course I had to cut them into "bars".
The chocolate and yogurt and sweetness of the krispies made it sooo good!
They honestly didn't last very long! Not even 15 minutes and they were all gone!
I must say, my Rice krispy raisin spice bar treat experiment was a success!!
